Risk Description

The rivets attaching the knives to the flail-cutter’s main body could break. The knives might consequently detach during use and hit the user, causing injuries. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Machinery Directive nor with the Commission Decision 2012/32/EU prohibiting the placing on the market of flail-type cutting attachments for portable hand-held brush cutters.

Product Description

Attachment for brush cutters for trimming and cutting lawn edges or other vegetation. The cutting attachment comprises six mobile knives that can be used for cutting when they rotate at high speed. Product sold online, in particular via AliExpress (identification number: 1005006255656111).
