3-socket power strip was recalled on 17 November 2006 under EU Safety Gate alert 0735/06. Electric shock risk reported by Germany. This product poses a risk of electric shock because:- the housing of the appliance can be opened using ordinary tools;- the lead cross-sections are too narrow;- the cables are identified with the wrong colours;- the soldered connection is defective;- the neutral conductor contact on the coupler socket is unsatisfactory;- required markings are missing.
