Risk Description
The product is for heads that may be mounted on a grass trimmers, against its intended use, and be used as a hand-held chain saw. As a consequence, this could cause kickback or loss of control over the tool, resulting in injuries. Additionally, the chain saw elements and cutting attachments are unprotected and could break during use. Consequently, the user could be hit by the head or broken pieces and be injured. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Machinery Directive and Commission Decision 2012/32/EU prohibiting the placing on the market of flail-type cutting attachments for portable hand-held brush cutters.
