Risk Description
Due to a defect of the engine control unit (inverter) in the vehicles fitted with electric double clutch transmission (e-DCT), metallic soldering residues may cause an internal electric short-circuits. This could lead to continuous power supply and overheating due to a blocked relay and cause a fire. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
