This product poses a serious risk of electric shock because:- the heating element is accessible;- the insulation is unfixed on the internal wiring;- there is no sufficient distance between the heating element and accessible metal parts;- the plug is of non-standardized type,and of fire since the cross section area of the mains cable is too small.

Risk Description
This product poses a serious risk of electric shock because:- the heating element is accessible;- the insulation is unfixed on the internal wiring;- there is no sufficient distance between the heating element and accessible metal parts;- the plug is of non-standardized type,and of fire since the cross section area of the mains cable is too small. This product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and with the relevant European standard EN 60335.

Product Description
The product has a white cover. The side walls were made of metal, while the endings were made of plastic. On one of the sides there is the lever for lowering the slices, the rotating timer button and STOP button. Main parts of the device: mains plug (STANDARD, TS-029, 10A, 250V, + marks of approval); mains cable (N/15382, H03VVH2-F 2x0.5mm2 + marks of approval); control panel (GW08B 06/98). Technical specification: 20-240 V; 50-60 Hz; 700 W Class II (by appearance).
