Risk Description
The product poses a risk of fire and electric shock because:· The cross-sectional area of the cores in the mains supply cord is not sufficient. In case of a short circuit the wires may overheat and could cause a fire.· The dimensions of the plug are less than required therefore the user may touch the pin of the plug during connection.· The wire ends of the mains supply cord are not adequately protected against pulling and twisting and they may therefore become free and accessible.· The storage compartment of the mains has sharp edges. In case of damage to the cord, live parts could become accessible.· The protective cover for the LED panel can be removed by hand during charging, resulting in live parts becoming accessible.The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
