Risk Description
The product poses a risk of burns and electric shock for the following reasons:· The insulation is not sufficient. · The cross-sectional area of the external wires is insufficient and the wires could overheat.· The wire ends soldered to terminals of flashing switch and control unit are not adequately protected against pulling and twisting. · The accessible basic insulated wires can come into contact with sharp edges of the flashing switch and control unit. In case of damage, the live metal wires become accessible. · The dimensions of the plug are substantially less than required and during connection the user may touch the live pin of the plug. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
