Risk Description

These products pose a risk of choking because the soothers might come apart due to the manufacturing failure.A very small number of soothers have been found to come apart posing a choking hazard. Quality Response Report from Jackel China factory states visual checks were carried out on 1750 soothers, which involved test to pull them apart by hand, 2 failed because they had not been welded. A further 500 were tested mechanically with forces in excess of 200N and none failed.Two customer complaints that soothers had fallen apart have been reported.
