Risk Description
The products pose a risk of electric shock because: - The cross-section area of the external and internal wires is not sufficient and the wires could consequently overheat.- The mechanical strength of the flashing unit is not sufficient and its cover can be fragmented, resulting in accessible live parts. - The dimensions of the plug are insufficient therefore the user may touch the pin of the plug during connection.-The structure of the swinging socket outlet enables single-pole insertion of plugs and the live parts of the free remaining pin are accessible.- The decorative lighting chain is not protected against moisture, yet it is recommended for outdoor use.The products do not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
