This product poses a risk of electric shock and injury because:- the luminaire fails the test with spring-operated hammer (with impact energy of 0,7Nm) and ‘fall test’ (height 850mm); in both cases lampshade becomes detached; - during the tests, accessible parts of the lamp reach temperature of 118° C (maximum allowed temperature for accessible non-metallic parts is 75° C); - connector for adaptor 12 Va.

Risk Description

This product poses a risk of electric shock and injury because:- the luminaire fails the test with spring-operated hammer (with impact energy of 0,7Nm) and ‘fall test’ (height 850mm); in both cases lampshade becomes detached; - during the tests, accessible parts of the lamp reach temperature of 118° C (maximum allowed temperature for accessible non-metallic parts is 75° C); - connector for adaptor 12 Va.c. fails the ball-pressure test at 125° C;- measured diameter of impression is 5mm (maximum allowed diameter of impression is 2mm).This product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
