Risk Description
- the product is delivered with two pole plug for class II appliances and intended to be connected directly to supply network of 230V although portable luminaries for children intended to be used with tungsten filament lamps should be delivered with a transformer/converter giving SELV and their maximum voltage should not exceed 24V; - the product gives direct access to the lamp although portable luminaries for children should incorporate means preventing direct contact with hot parts. During heating test, measured temperature of the lamp was 215° C (max. allowed 75° C), measured temperature of the insulating lampholder housing was 129° C (max. allowed 75° C) and measured temperature of metallic spiral around the lampholder housing was 98° C (max. allowed 60° C). This product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
