Risk Description

Due to improper construction of the cord anchorage the connection cord can be pushed inside the luminaire where the external insulation of the cord can get into contact with hot surfaces of the lamp. The connection cord is not properly fixed, thus the cord may get into contact with sharp edges and may be damaged and if live parts are accessible electric shock might occur. The luminaire is not provided with SELV transformer/ converter.The glass plate covering the lamp broke when 0,7 Nm force was applied and the hot lamp became accessible by the small test finger. The highest temperature measured on the hot surfaces was too high, 244,2 °C. The external cover of the luminaire was overheated during the tests.This product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the European Standards.
