Risk Description
Chemical risk. Performed tests showed that extension mascara blue containedN-nitrosodiethanolamine (NDELA) at the levels of 142, 133 and 111 µg/kg (products are available on the market that contain no detectable levels of N- nitrosodiethanolamine (<10 µg/kg).According to the Cosmetics Regulation nitrosamines are permitted in cosmetic matrixes only as technically unavoidable residue at levels that do not pose a risk to health.
