Risk Description
Risk of electric shock. This socket bar has an IP44 marking Splashproof. However the water could penetrate freely to the current-carrying conductors. The sockets do not have the side earthing contacts required in Germany, but only the earthing pin common, e.g. in France. Customer may be given misleading information that these are the waterproof sockets, and these do not require side contacts but the contact pin.
