This product poses a carcinogenic risk to consumers because the rubber solution contains 64.9 % benzene and 14.4 % toluene.Benzene is classified as carcinogenic category I, mutagenic category II and toxic under Directive 76/769/EEC. Toluene is classified as carcinogenic category III, harmful and highly inflammable.In addition, the labelling is incorrect and incomplete. Consumers have skin contact with the product and inhale the vapour.
