Risk Description
This product poses a risk of electric shock because:- There is access to live parts when globe removed in normal use to replace lamp. - Cord anchorage of supply cable is inadequate; it is achieved by knot tied in cable inside lamp globe.- Mechanical strength of the mains supply cable is inadequate; cross sectional area is 0.5mm2 compared with the required 1.0mm2. This product does not comply with the LV Directive and the European Standard 60598-2-4:1998.
