Risk Description

This machine is extremely dangerous to operate and is likely to cause injury to the rider and to any other persons in the vicinity of the machine.- The fuel tank is vented under and just in front of the rider of the machine, causing a situation whereby the rider will inhale petrol fumes. This is also compounded by the fact that there is a potential fire hazard if the rider of anyone nearby is smoking near the tank cap during the venting process.- The drive chain and sprocket were not sufficiently guarded.- Frontal chain guard that is fitted is insufficient and also has sharp edges.- The handle bar levers were insecure, incomplete and were not ball ended.- The exhaust was insufficiently shielded at the front.- There was no re-set on the engine stop.- There was no speed-limiting device present.- A user manual provided with the mini motor bike is intended for other model.
