There is a serious risk of electric shock because: the passageway for the wire includes sharp glass parts which may cut the insulation of the wire exposing the bare copper which can lead to electrocution, the luminaire is not provided with cord anchorage and bushing, no earth wire is provided (the metal base is not earthed).
