Risk Description
The hammer head is made of cast iron (granular crystalline structure, soft and brittle) rather than the requisite grade steel. The hammer head is fastened onto the handle without a positive–fit locking device. The plastic grip breaks under normal strain, since the metal handle is only partly inserted (2.2-3.5 cm) and the handle easily becomes separated from the grip, since it is glued in with non-elastic adhesive.
