Risk Description

The lamps were not provided with the SELV transformer (reducing mains supply voltage to extra low voltage). During the thermal test the highest measured temperature of the accessible parts (including the incandescent lamp) was 84,3°C (dolphin) and 175,2°C (butterfly). The glasses covering the incandescent lamp in the dolphin-formed luminaire broke due to the impact of 0,7 Nm force and the hot incandescent lamp became accessible by the small test finger. These products do not comply with the LVD Directive and the European Standards.
