Risk Description
The product has an excessive concentration of lead (measured value: 5.1 ppm).Lead is harmful to human health, accumulates in the body, can cause developmental neurotoxicity (only if exposure to children expected) and may affect breast-fed or unborn children.Moreover, the product has an excessive concentration of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), notably benzo[a]pyrene and benzo[e]pyrene (measured value: 0.94 ppm and 0.90 ppm, respectively). These PAHs may cause cancer.Finally, the product has an excessive concentration of naphthalene (measured value: 1.8 ppm).Naphthalene is irritant if inhaled or in contact with skin and might cause cancer. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation.
