Risk Description
The sealing performance of the rear door opener switch can deteriorate over time and may allow water ingress under high-pressure splashes. This can cause a short circuit and unintended activation of the door release. If the door is unlocked, it may open unexpectedly while driving, increasing the risk of injury. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of Motor Vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
