Risk Description
The product poses a chemical risk because it contains 32% by weight of dibutyl phthalate (DBP), 1.3% by weight of bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) and 0.28% by weight of di-"isobutyl" phthalate (DIBP). The sandals may be worn by a child with bare feet for many hours, in which case the child's feet would be in intense contact with the plastic and the child's exposure to phthalates could be very high.
