Risk Description

This toy poses:- a serious risk of suffocation by strangulation because the string can be prolonged up to 105-700 mm depending on the way of its use. So the toy represents a serious risk of strangulation by wrapping around the neck of a child;- a chemical risk because it contains volatile chemical substances, including toluene, a- pinane, and ethyl benzene. These substances are harmful and irritating with a possible effect on the central nervous system. In addition, the marking of the toy is not sufficient as concerns its size and visibility. This toy does not comply with the Toys Directive and the relevant European standard EN 71-1.

Product Description

The toy Jo Jo puffer balls are packed at 24 pieces in the box, however, according to the text on the box, the latter should contain 12 pieces. The ball is made from softened PVC in diameter of 4 cm in various colours with painted eyes, nose and mouth. The top is equipped with an elastic string of 10,5 cm length including a loop for an entrapment by the finger. It is flashing inside upon a hit. The card with marking and warnings is affixed to the string.
