Risk Description
The automatic and manual emergency call service may not function as intended outside the network coverage of certain network providers due to a software error. As a result, the eCall may not be used as intended to place an emergency call to direct emergency services to the vehicle. Depending on network availability, voice communication would still be possible by calling 112 as a fallback option.
