Risk Description
The solders in the flashlight have an excessive concentration of lead (measured value up to 19.1% by weight). The casing lid to the camping lantern has an excessive concentration of brominated flame retardants (PBDE) (measured value up to 0.18% by weight).Lead poses a risk to the environment. PBDE might cause neurodevelopmental behavioural defects and is very persistent and bio-accumulative, posing a risk for the environment and human health. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Directive on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS 2 Directive).
