The plastic of the product has an excessive concentration of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), ) notably Benzo (a)pyrene (BaP), Benzo (e)pyrene (BeP), Benz (a)anthracene (BaA), Chrysene (CHR), Benzo (b)fluoranthene (BbFA), Benzo (j)fluoranthene (BjFA, Benzo (k)fluoranthene (BkFA), and Dibenz(a,h)anthracene (DBAhA) (measured values: 7.2 mg/kg, 7.1 mg/kg, 35.2 mg/kg, 27.6 mg/kg, 7.5 mg/kg, 2.6 mg/kg, 3.6 mg/kg and 0.6 mg/kg by weight respectively).These PAHs may cause cancer and are also mutagenic and toxic for reproduction. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation.
