Risk Description
The product poses a serious risk of injuries because fourteen layers of aramid are not sufficient on their own to give protection against even a very low level (below 10 joules of energy) knife stab attack. It is not suitable (without treatment such as resin bonding or the addition of chain mail) for use as knife protection as the fibres can easily be parted and cut by a knife.
