Risk Description
The product has an excessive concentration of cadmium and release of nickel (measured values: 87,3 % by weight and up to 0.81 µg/cm²/week, respectively). Cadmium is harmful to human health because it accumulates in the body, can damage the kidneys and bones and it may cause cancer. Nickel is a strong sensitiser and causes allergic reactions if present in articles that come into direct and prolonged contact with the skin. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation.
