Risk Description

Due to an error in the specific calibration software of the electronicengine control unit (ECU), an incorrect value may be given when thedata are processed by the vehicle. This may result in nitrogen oxide(NOx) emissions that are above the regulatory limits. Excessive NOxemissions pose a risk to the environment. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
