Overheating of the cable can cause parts of the insulation of the cable to disintegrate and thereby expose live sections of the cable which may be touched. Furthermore, there is a risk that the water pumped out will be under voltage.The product does not comply with the requirements of the Machinery Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60335.
