Risk Description
The battery compartment can be easily opened/broken, leaving the button batteries accessible. A child may put them in the mouth and swallow them, which could cause damage to the child’s gastrointestinal tract and/or choking. Moreover, the plastic material of the product has an excessive concentration of bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), dibutyl phthalate (DBP) and diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP) (measured values up to 0.03 %, 2.28 % and 11.69 % by weight, respectively). These phthalates may harm the health of children, causing possible damage to their reproductive system. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive and with the REACH Regulation nor with the European standard EN 62115.
