Risk Description

Due to a manufacturing fault in the intermediate steering shaft/steering rack assembly, the driver may find the power steering to be abnormally stiff or too loose. Consequently, the vehicle may turn without input from the steering wheel, with a resultant risk of loss of control, causing the risk of an accident. The product does not comply with the requirements laid down in the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
