Risk Description
The product contains an excessive concentration of cadmium (measured value 42% by weight).Cadmium is harmful to human health because it accumulates in the body, can damage the kidneys and bones and it may cause cancer.The rate of nickel release is too high (measured value up to 0.35 µg/cm2/week). Nickel is a strong sensitiser and causes allergic reactions if present in articles that come into direct and prolonged contact with the skin. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation.
