In wet conditions, the insufficient clearance and contact between these components can lead to water infiltration, causing an electric arc which may trigger a thermal event, such as overheating. There is a risk of fire. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
