Risk Description
null The front outboard lap-belt pre-tensioner cables will retract upon deployment to pull in the seat belt webbing, as intended, but may not lock in that position, allowing the cable and the retracted webbing to return to their original positions under occupant loading. If this occurs, there may be an increased risk of occupant movement in the case of frontal or roll-over impacts, which increases the risk of injury to the occupant.
