Risk Description
The plastic in the keyboard has an excessive concentration of polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) (measured value up to 0.2%). PBDEs might cause neurodevelopmental behavioural defects and are very persistent and bio-accumulative, posing a risk for the environment and human health. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Directive on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS 2 Directive).
